Often times the property will not stay on the same truck that performed the pick-up. To help organize and consolidate shipments it is not unusual that the property will be offloaded, temporarily stored, and then transported on different trucks or by subcontractors. Unless otherwise stated in writing, a customer's property could be consolidated with other customer property on the same truck while being transported.  These issues should be clarified with the moving company before you sign a contract for services.
